Overview

Hemkund Lake is a popular pilgrimage destination for Hindu and Sikhs and is located next to the beautiful Valley of Flowers. The sacred Sikh shrine Hemkund Sahib is fortified along the bank of this meandering lake. This is where, following a long meditation in his previous birth, Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth guru of Sikhism, was reunited with God. Nearby this shrine is located Lakshmana Temple, where Lakshmana, who was the younger brother of Rama, took penance. Thus this shrine is religiously and historically significant for both the Hinduism and Sikhism.

Day 1

Arrival Delhi – Haridwar (205 kms. 06 Hrs)

Arrival at Delhi railway station / airport and drive towords Haridwar via Meerut & Roorkee. On arrival check in at hotel. By evening visit the famous Har Ki Peri for Aarti Darshan. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Haridwar – Pipalkoti (245 Kms 10 Hrs)

In the morning, we will go from the hotel in Haridwar to Pipalkoti through Rishikesh Devprayag, Rudrapryag and Karanparyag. We’ll check in the booked hotel later in the evening and enjoy a nice overnight stay in Pipalkoti.

Day 3

Pipalkoti – Govindghat – Ghangaria (50 Kms. Drive + 13 Kms Trek)

We’ll leave Govindghat by road today after breakfast in the morning. Upon our way to Adi Shankaracharya Math and to Narsingh Mandir, we are going to stay in JoshimathAfter that, our drive to Govindghat will continue. Once we reach Ghangaria, we will start trekking. For a relaxing overnight stay, check-in at the pre-booked Guest House in Ghangaria.

Day 4

Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (5 Kms Trek Per Way)

After breakfast, the morning begins with our trek to Hemkund sahib (05 km Each Way) and leads you to a lax temple and gurudwara of the Guru Govind Singh the 10 guru of shiks he mediated here in his previous Birth. And back to Ghanghariya. Over night stay in hotel or camp.

Day 5

Ghangaria – Govindghat – Rudraprayag (13 Kms. Trek + 132 Kms Drive)

We will start our day a bit early in the morning and trek down to Govindghat. Here, we will meet our driver and leave by road for Rudrapryag, via Joshimath, Chamoli and Karanprayag. Check in for an overnight stay at the hotel that has already been booked.

Rudraprayag is the place where two important rivers meet, i.e. Alaknanda and Mandakini River.

Temples: Temple of Koteshwar (3 Kms): Rudranath and Chamunda Devi.

Day 6

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi Height: 1319 MTS (220kms/8-9hr)

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Rishikesh via Srinagar Garhwal. In the way, we’ll visit the meeting point along Devprayag, Alaknanda Confluence and Bhagirathi River. Afterwards, we will continue our drive to Rishikesh. On reaching, check in at the pre-booked hotel for relaxing overnight stay.

Rishikesh is a popular holy place, just 24 kilometers from Haridwar. It sits in the lap of the lower Himalayas and is surrounded by the beautiful mountains on three sides and the Ganga River. The Ramayana is connected to this important pilgrimage center and houses many old and newly built temples. It is regarded as an ideal place for practicing yoga and meditation. There are many yoga centers and ashrams blessed at the site. Rishikesh is the gateway to important Northern India religious sites like Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.

Day 7

Rishikesh – Delhi (234 Kms 07 Hrs)

We’ll have breakfast in the morning on the final day of our tour and we are prepared to return to Delhi afterward. Once you arrive, take a direct flight or train to the Delhi airport / railway station to the destination.

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 60 days & prior to arrival - 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival - 20% of the tour/service cost
  • 29 days to 15 days prior to arrival - 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 day to 08 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show - NO REFUND.
