Traditionally, the pilgrimage begins from the West and ends in the East Thus, from Yamunotri, the Char Dham Yatra goes to Gangotri, and eventually to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Every site is dedicated to a particular deity. Yamunotri is consecrated to Yamuna Goddess who flies on the pilgrims to the picturesque Rawai valley high above sea level. The bath is thought to shield the devotee from untimely death in the waters of the Yamuna. Gangotri is dedicated to the Goddess Ganga. The shrine overlooks the Bhagirathi River, another name of the Ganga River – a name which was derived from the legend about the penance of ancient King Bhagirath bringing her upon the earth from the heaven. Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is also a part of the Panch Kedar It is Jyotirlinga’s northernmost and is located at the source of the Mandakini Holy River. Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It’s on the banks of the Alaknanda River. Legend has it that Lord Vishnu is meditating here, while his fellow Lakshmi has taken the form of a tree of berry (Badri) to give him shade.

Day 1

Warangal – Delhi

Take Train to Delhi from Warangal, arrival at Delhi railway station. Pick up & drive to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Haridwar – Barkot Height: 1352 MTS (210kms/7-8hr).

Barkot via Mussoorie, enroute visit Mussoorie’s Kempty Fall. Later drive straight to Barkot. Check into the hotel arrival in Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Barkot weather – Temperature ranges from 25 ° to 30 ° C, generally nice during the summer, winter: days are pleasantly cool but the nights are harsh, temperatures are 10 ° C.

Day 3

Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot {36kms drive & 5 kms Trek (one side)} Height: 3235 MTS.

Early morning after breakfast (packed breakfast), drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti & star trek from here to Yamunotri (6kms) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). Upon taking a bath in the warm water of Jamunabai Kund and getting “Yamunaji” darshan return by trek to Jankichatti. Later drive towards Barkot, Overnight stay at Barkot.
Yamunotri Temple: The 19th century temple was built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur. In the present century, it was demolished twice and rebuilt again. One can cook rice at Yamunotri by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the Tapt kund’s hot water. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. You can give Divya Shila here near the temple “Pooja.”
Surya Kund: Near the temple there are a variety of hot springs that stream into many pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.
Yamunotri weather – The maximum temperature is 18 degrees in summer and 10 degrees celsius is the minimum. The days are cool but the nights are cold.

Day 4

Barkot – Uttarkashi height: 1352 MTS (100kms/4hr) .

Moning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi is home to a number of ashrams, temples. The name of the town reflects its similarity to and location (as north of) the city of Kashi (Varanasi). Similar to Varanasi, town of Uttarkashi is also situated on the banks of River Ganga.

Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. Akhand Jyoti as well as Akhand Abhishek, special aarti at morning and evening are offered. As per Skunda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.

Shakti temple –Right in front of the Vishwanath temple is Shakti temple. It has a big ‘Trishul’ of about 6 meters in height and a circumference of 90 cms. at bottom. Though there are different views about the making of this, the upper part of it seems to be made up of iron and the lower one is of copper. As per the epics this Shakti was thrown on the devils by the Goddess Durga(Shakti), hence it gets its name. Since then this Shakti is erected over here.

Uttarkashi Climate – Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 30-35 degree Celsius but nights is pleasant, Cold in winters.

Day 5

Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi Height: 3048 MTS (100kms/3-4 per side).

Early morning drive to Gangotri (packed breakfast), enroute to Gangnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund, more drive to Gangotri through beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is known for the beauty of nature and the magnificent views of the Deodar trees and mountains. Upon arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges river, which at its source is also called Bhagirathi. Perform Pooja and Darshan, then relax in the beautiful surroundings for some time. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Gangotri Temple: Designed in the 18th century by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa, the temple is located on Bhagirathi’s right bank.

Gangotri Weather –During the summer, the maximum temperature will reach 20 ° Celsius. At a minimum temperature of 10 ° Celsius, summer nights can get colder. Light woolen clothes are required during summer visits to Gangotri. Winter season is very chilly in Gangotri. During the winter, Gangotri will be coated in snow sheets. Due to heavy snowfall, pilgrim centers remain closed throughout the winter.

Day 6

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi Height: 1319 MTS (220kms/8-9hr).

After breakfast drive via Moolgarh & Lambgoan to Guptkashi. You can see the beautiful Mandakini river in Tilwara on the way. The river Mandakini comes from Kedarnath, travel along the river to Guptakashi, visit Guptakashi’s Ardh Narishwar Temple. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.

Guptakashi:- The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology explains how Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi when the Pandava brothers were looking for a glimpse of Shiva, but later fled from them into the valley To Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally fulfilled their wishes. There are more concrete links as well-Kedarnath pandas (priests) stay in Guptkashi during the winter months and after the Kedarnath temple is closed for the winter, the image of the Kedarnath temple. On his way to Ukhimath (through the valley), Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi, where he stays for the winter.

Day 7

Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30kms on one way and 19kms on one side) Height: 3384 MTS.

Morning after breakfast departure for Kedarnath dham. Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Helicopter: Our operator will pass your Helipad Prebook to you in the morning. Whether it’s by helicopter or by trek, you should tell driver about your arrival time, and Driver will be there to pick you up.

By Trek: Our driver will drop you at Sonprayag in the morning and you’ll have to take your local jeep to Gaurikund and then your kedarnath ji trek. You adopt the same route and return to Sonpraag after darshan. Day 8

Kedarnath- Guptkashi

Morning after darshan, back to Guptkashi, by Track or helicopter. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9

Guptkashi – Badrinath Height: 3133 MTS (160kms/7hr).

Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Mana Village : Mana Village: It is the last Indian village before Tibet, populated by an Indo-Mongolian tribe. it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Vasundhara : Vasundhara is a majestic waterfall, as the name suggests. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motorable upto Mana.

Bhim Pul :A massive rock forming a natural bridge lies across the raging Saraswati river on the other side of the village of Mana. It provides a stunning view of the water that thundered through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been put there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave): This is a rock-cave near Mana Village where it is believed that Ved Vyas had written the Mahabharata and the pauranic remarks.

Badrinath Weather: The maximum average temperature is around 18 ° Celsius and the minimum average is 8 ° Celsius. Hence, warm and woolen clothes are required for a year-round stay in Badrinath. Snow falls also follow winter in Badrinath. With an average temperature of 5 ° Celsius, winter is very cold. This time is usually closed to visitors due to the extreme climatic conditions.

Day 10

Badrinath – Joshimath – Srinagar (180kms/7hr) Height: 895 MTS.

Srinagar Weather – Srinagar Climate – typically hot in summer, temperatures range from 35-40 degrees Celsius, winter: the days are pleasantly mild, but the nights are cold, the temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 05 deg.

Day 11

Srinagar – Haridwar (165kms/5-6hr)

Rishikesh’s ‘ location of the sages ‘ is a well-known religious town on the bank of Ganga, surrounded on three sides by the Himalayan Shivalik range It is said that when Raibhya Rishi made extreme penances, God appeared under the name of “Hrishikesh” and this region became known as Rishikesh. Drop at railway station /hotel.

Day 12

Haridwar – Delhi (220Kms / 6-7hr) Height: 310 MTS.

Morning after breakfast, drive for Delhi. Dropping at Delhi airport / station.

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 60 days & prior to arrival - 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival - 20% of the tour/service cost
  • 29 days to 15 days prior to arrival - 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 day to 08 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show - NO REFUND.
