The below itinerary takes the travelers to a comprehensive spiritual tour of Badrinath Kedarnath Do Dham Yatra. The major destinations in the trip are Haridwar, Rishikesh, Guptkasi, Gaurikund, Kedarnath, Joshimath, Badrinath, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. The tour starts with a holy dip in Ganga water in Haridwar. It is a 19 kms of trek to Kedarnath from Sonpryag. It is a drive to Badrinath where a tourist can enjoy nature’s beauty as well. Whole tour takes the tourists to an engrossing blend of spirituality, holiness, and unparalleled beauty of nature.

Day 1

Haridwar – Guptkashi (210kms/ 7hr) Height: 1319 MTS.

Drive to Guptkashi through Moolgarh & Lambgoan in the morning after breakfast The stunning Mandakini River in Tilwara can be seen along the way. The river Mandakini comes from Kedarnath and travels along the River to the Guptakashi River. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.

Guptakashi:- The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology tells us how Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, when the Pandava brothers were looking for an insight into Shiva, but later fled up the valley from them To Kedarnath, where they eventually fulfilled their wishes. The Kedarnath pandas (priests) stay in Guptkashi in the winter months and after the temple closes for the winter, the image of Guptkashi is more visible. Upon his way to Ukhimath across the river, Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi and stays for the winter.

Climate in Guptkashi – The warm weather is between 25 and 30 Celsius in summer.

Day 2

Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30kms by road & 19kms Trek one way) Height: 3384 MTS.

Morning after breakfast departure for Kedarnath dham. Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Helicopter: In the morning, your prebook Helipad will be transferred to you. You should tell the driver if it’s by helicopter or on the road, so the driver can collect you.

(Note: this package does not contain helicopter tickets).

By Trek: Morning our driver will drop you at Sonprayag then you have to take local jeep for Gaurikund & then your trek strat for kedarnath ji. After darshan you follow same & back to Sonpraag. The car park is a big problem, therefore if his touch no, he will return to another palace.

Kedarnath: The Kedarnath Shrine is a scenic location in the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of the Lord Shiva. Day 3

Kedarnath- Guptkashi.

Morning after darshan, back to Guptkashi, by Track or helicopter. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4

Guptkashi – Badrinath Height: 3133 MTS (160kms/7hr).

Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti at evening after having a bath in the Taptkund. For Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), Brahamakapal is significant. Many popular sightseeing spots such as Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the Saraswati River “Mukh” are available. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Mana Village : Mana Village: It is the last Indian village before Tibet, populated by an Indo-Mongolian tribe. it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Vasundhara : Vasundhara is a majestic waterfall, as the name suggests. This place is 5 kms. from Badrinath out of which 2 kms. is motorable upto Mana.

Bhim Pul : A massive rock forming a natural bridge lies across the raging Saraswati river on the other side of the village of Mana. It provides a stunning view of the water that thundered through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been put there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave): This is a rockcave near Mana Village where it is believed that Ved Vyas had written the Mahabharata and the pauranic remarks.

Badrinath Weather: The maximum average temperature is around 18 ° Celsius and the minimum average is 8 ° Celsius. Hence, warm and woolen clothes are required for a year-round stay in Badrinath. Snow falls also follow winter in Badrinath. With an average temperature of 5 ° Celsius, winter is very cold. This time is usually closed to visitors due to the extreme climatic conditions.

Day 5

Badrinath – Joshimath – Srinagar (180kms/7hr) Height: 895 MTS.

Srinagar Weather – typically hot in summer, temperatures range from 35-40 degrees Celsius, winter: the days are pleasantly mild, but the nights are cold, the temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 05 deg.

Day 6

Srinagar – Haridwar (165kms/5-6hr).

Rishikesh’s ‘ location of the sages ‘ is a well-known religious town on the bank of Ganga, surrounded on three sides by the Himalayan Shivalik range It is said that when Raibhya Rishi made extreme penances, God appeared under the name of “Hrishikesh” and this region became known as Rishikesh. Drop at railway station /hotel.

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 60 days & prior to arrival - 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival - 20% of the tour/service cost
  • 29 days to 15 days prior to arrival - 25% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 day to 08 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour/service cost.
  • 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show - NO REFUND.
