Dedicated to Goddess Ganga, Gangotri is one of the essential Hindu shrines in Uttarkashi place of Uttarakhand. Located at a size up to 3048 m, the temple was built by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the early 1700s. Gangotri Tour is mentioned among one of the places of Char Dham Yatra and is visited by devotees in huge numbers.
However, due to heavy snow during wintertime season year (from Nov to March) the shrine remains shut. But for the benefit of the tourists and to continue the Char Dham Tour with Gangotri Yatra, the idols of the temple are moved to Mukhba and Kharsail in Uttarkashi place. But from Apr again, for the rest of the year, they are moved back to their original position. .

Day 01: Delhi to Haridwar (230km/6hrs)
drive to Haridwar by road. Explore haridwar on your own. In evening visit Ganga -Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri. Overnight stay at haridwar.
Day 02: Haridwar to Uttarkashi (190km/7 hrs)
Post breakfast drive for Uttarkashi. Famous for most beautiful valleys in the world. Nightstay at Uttarkashi.
Day 03: Uttarkashi - Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100km/4hrs)
After breakfast depart for Gangotri, then take a holy dip in the sacred River, The Ganges. Offer Prayer and relax in the beutiful environment. return to Hotel in the afternoon and relax or can go for nature walk. In the evening, offer the Ganga Aarti at riverbank. Overnight stay.
Day 04: Uttarkashi to Haridwar (180km/7Hrs)
Post breakfast depart for Uttarkashi, will have Tea / Coffee and Lunch at Chamba on the way. Rest of the day will be at relaxation. Overnight stay Haridwar.
Day 05: Haridwar to Delhi (230km-7Hrs)
After a good heavy breakfast you will be relocated to New Delhi.
